Sika Studio's (for anyone who has yet to have an encounter) are an Urban Collective from the future. Mixing up dubstep, hip hop, jungle and breaks into some of the freshest mash up's around their oh so special recipe also mixes in break dancing, street art and live grafitti with own brand clothing to create a show that lives on in your ears long after the last deck has been spun.
Having has their own unique stages at the Relentless NASS Festival and the awesome Ripcurl Boardmasters pro surf festival in Newquay as well as numerous major gigs in Europe they are a force to be reckoned with on the urban scene. Bringing new blood to the Bay this is a first for the Lighthouse and we are hoping that it will be an urban partnership that carries on long into the future.

ANIME NIGHT : FOR JAPAN! : MARCH 25th £3 ROAR
Our monthly Anime nights are the only ones in the South West which might explain why they just get bigger and bigger each month! With a bubble gum sweet mix of J-POP and J-ROCK its a mighty fest of all that is Anime! This time around we are giving the proceeds to Shelter Box to help support the relief effort after the quake in Japan. So do something new, get your Cosplay out, eat some noodles and come and do your bit for Charity!!
This is a 14 plus event but younger siblings can join in if they are accompanied by a responsible adult (someone who is over the age of 18!!)

Not that there will be anything tiresome about it, The Lighthouse is mixing up the cream of the Bays unsigned talent with Sophies Wax Room. Indie stars RICKY AND THE PIGEONS are live on stage with support from our heavy rock favourites CASADE (Connor will be wearing a dress for the occasion...) and new boys from Ivybridge GEORGE AND THE ISLANDERS. With live waxing for sponsorship cash in the chill out room it is guaranteed to be a real screamer to kick off our Easter opening.
